I took a recording last April while reading WTWTA to Milo, then two and a half. I want to upload the whole thing but it’s too big a file, so here’s a excerpt of my favorite part. I love that he says “us eat you up us love you so”. Mostly because it is ridiculously adorable, but also because with a kid his age, an error like this is possibly a sign of greater comprehension than if he had parroted the words correctly: instead of memorizing the text, his grammatical errors show that he has heard the story, understood it, and now is able to use his own words to retell it. Enjoy!
